What owning a Rare Squishy lets you do with its artwork, and what it does not.
1. Ownership of the token vs. the art
When you own a Rare Squishy token you own the token. The artwork, the character designs, the Rare Squishy and The Squishy Plug names and logos, and all copyright, trademark and other intellectual property remain the property of The Squishy Plug (TruGen Labs). Buying an NFT does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, ownership of the business, or any right to future profits.
2. What you may do
While you own the token you receive a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the artwork of your token for personal, non-commercial purposes: as a profile picture, in your wallet or on marketplaces, in social posts about your collection, and in private settings. You may show it when offering the token for sale.
3. What you may not do
Unless we agree in writing you may not: use the artwork to sell products or services; modify it to create derivative works for commercial use; use it in a way that is hateful, discriminatory or illegal; use our names, logos or trade dress to suggest endorsement; or mint, wrap or re-issue the artwork as another token.
4. Transfer
The license passes with the token. When you transfer the token your license ends and the new owner's begins.
5. Termination
The license ends if you breach it or stop owning the token. We may also stop hosting this website; the token and the IPFS-pinned artwork continue to exist independently of the site.
6. Reservation
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. This license is a draft and may be replaced for future mints by an approved version.
