NFT Terms of Sale

1. Who we are and what this is

The Squishy Plug (TruGen Labs) ("we") operates this site and the Rare Squishy — Series 001 smart contract on the Base network. A "Rare Squishy" is an ERC-721 token (an "NFT") that records ownership of a numbered slot in the collection and points to one artwork and its metadata.

By connecting a wallet and submitting a mint transaction you accept these Terms, the Digital Collectible License, the Risk Disclosures and the Refund and Transaction Finality Policy.

2. Purely digital

The NFT is a digital collectible only. It does not include, represent or entitle you to any physical product, toy, merchandise, shipment, redemption, membership, service, event access, revenue share, equity, voting right or any obligation on our part beyond what the smart contract itself performs.

3. Price and payment

The mint price is set in the smart contract and shown on the mint page in ETH. You also pay the Base network fee ('gas'), which is set by the network, not by us, and is shown by your wallet before you sign. The contract requires the exact mint price for the quantity chosen; it never takes more and does not issue change. We do not accept cards or fiat for minting.

4. Limits

The contract enforces a maximum per transaction and a maximum per wallet address, both shown on the mint page and changeable by the contract owner for future mints only. We may run an allowlist phase before the public phase.

5. Delivery

Minting is instant: when your transaction is confirmed by the network, the token is in the wallet that sent the transaction. We do not hold tokens for you and cannot send a token to a different wallet after the fact.

6. Reveal

Artwork and traits are assigned after minting closes using a provenance hash committed before the first mint and a random starting offset derived from a block hash. We cannot choose which token receives which artwork. Until the reveal, tokens display a placeholder.

7. No refunds; finality

Blockchain transactions are irreversible and the contract has no refund function. See the Refund and Transaction Finality Policy.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your wallet, its keys and seed phrase, for choosing the right network, for the accuracy of the transaction you sign, and for complying with the laws that apply to you, including tax. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key; anyone who does is not us.

9. Secondary sales

You may transfer or sell your token on any marketplace that supports Base ERC-721 tokens. Those marketplaces have their own terms and fees. We are not a party to secondary sales. Any creator royalty configured in the contract (ERC-2981) is a request to marketplaces and is not guaranteed.

10. No investment

Rare Squishies are collectibles. We make no representation that they will have any value, resale market, liquidity or appreciation. Do not mint with money you cannot afford to lose.

11. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and not barred from using blockchain services by sanctions or applicable law.

12. Our rights

We may pause minting, change the price or limits for future mints, change phases, freeze metadata after the reveal, and discontinue this website. We cannot and will not take, burn or transfer a token you own. The smart contract cannot be upgraded.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, the contract and the tokens are provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim related to a mint is limited to the mint price you paid for the token concerned.

14. Changes and contact
